A sequence of music and dramatic readings foretelling the birth of Jesus Christ into the world.  Sung by the Cathedral Choir and Cantate.

The second of our new evening concert series. Roger Sayer is Organist and Director of Music at The Temple Church, London, having previously held the same position at Rochester Cathedral. He is also Deputy Chorus Director and Accompanist to the London Symphony Chorus. The programme for the concert includes Bach, Mendelssohn, Brahms, Duruflé, Alain, and more. A traditional service of Evensong attended by the Old Choristers' Association and sung by the Cathedral Choir. Followed by a reception. A reflective service including sung psalms, canticles and readings. A lovely prayerful way to end the day.
