The Sarum Cycle is a series of 13 painted meditations on the Passion of Christ by Nicholas Mynheer. The cycle begins with Christ's entry into Jerusalem and ends with his resurrection appearance to the disciples by the Sea of Galilee. The Sarum Cycle takes its name from the Roman name for Salisbury, having first been displayed in Salisbury Cathedral in 2007. Since then the paintings have been displayed in Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford, and Canterbury Cathedral. They will be on display in Portsmouth Cathedral this year throughout Lent and into Easter.
