The Guild of Guides is now over 50 years old. The Guides are the first point of contact for many people who visit our historic building. They work closely together to give the visitor a friendly, helpful and memorable experience.
Arranging flowers is part of our offering of service and worship, and is a very relaxing and enjoyable way to spend a morning.
A team who meet on Tuesday mornings in the memorial garden to keep it as a place of beauty and tranquillity. Ashes are still interred with names inscribed on the stone path or on memorial stones.
Shop Assistants are key members of the Cathedral Team who make our visitors experiences memorable as they browse for gifts and keepsakes in our Cathedral Shop.
Responsible for the individual services that require basic sound operation within our standard ‘house’ setup. This role requires a very basic understanding of sound systems and is ideal for someone looking to build their skills and learn more.
Responsible for wider aspects of sound requirements at the Cathedral including planning and operation for services, events, as well as having an overview of ongoing maintenance of our hardware.
For all our congregation at home, providing a good quality livestream of services has never been more important.

Our Cathedral Lunch Club is 40 years old and continues to provide a hot meal to elderly and vulnerable people each week.
