With more than 2,000 young singers participating in eight performances alongside Gabrieli’s world-class musicians, audiences and singers alike are sure to delight in this most exciting and flamboyant music of the early baroque.
Accompanying Gabrieli’s own consort and Roar young singers, nearly every conceivable type of late renaissance instrument will be on show – cornets, sackbuts, strings, dulcians, rackets, shawms, trumpets and all manner of keyboard instruments. This concert promised the sumptuous sounds and colours of the renaissance, alongside an inspiration and uplifting evening with young people placed centre stage.
