The State Funeral of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, will take place on Monday 19 September, 11:00am.
We will be showing the service on screens in the Cathedral’s Nave for those wishing to watch with other members of the Cathedral community.
The Cathedral will be open as from 8:00am, with television coverage rolling from 9am, and the coverage of the State Funeral starting at 11:00am. We hope there will be an opportunity to join in with the hymns of the funeral service.
You are welcome to attend for the whole duration of the funeral, or for as long as you are able to. Please feel encouraged to join with others inside the cathedral, to feel a sense of community and to pay your own respects at this national time of mourning.
All are welcome.
