The Reverend Canon Jo Spreadbury, Canon Precentor
Jo served in the diocese of St. Albans for 15 years before moving to Portsmouth in September in 2015. She previously worked at Christian Aid and at St Paul’s Cathedral as a verger.
She was a member of General Synod for seven years, and is currently on the Church of England Liturgical Commission, as well as chair of Praxis.
In addition to her responsibilities for liturgy and music, Jo is also the lead for pastoral matters working closely with other members of the Ministry Team.
